Garant bank hosts cybersecurity workshop for students

Students from the Tashkent Institute of Management and Economics visited Garant bank for a workshop on cybersecurity and online safety.

Sh. M. Madrakhimov, a specialist from the Bank’s Information Security and Fraud Monitoring Department, explained common online scams, phishing tactics, and practical ways to protect personal information and bank cards.

Students learned how to spot suspicious links and messages, why SMS verification codes must never be shared, and how to protect themselves from fraud.

Through initiatives like this, Garant bank aims to help young people develop digital and financial literacy, take greater responsibility for protecting their personal information, and build the skills needed to stay safe online.
